We finally got here. It is a long trip but there were no delays or
issues. Juju slept for the most part on the long flight and we all survived.
It was definitely interesting to spend
Easter on the plane but at least we were with the family.
On our first day we were all up early (due
to time zone difference) and went to the Great Wall. We have been here before
but not to this part of the wall. Juju was brave and eager to climb high and
counted all the 347 steps she and I climbed.
Our first day tour also included visiting a Cloisonné factory, lunch
at a local restaurant and stopping at the Olympic stadium for pictures.
And when we got back to the hotel , our guide asked if we wanted
to go to the Beijing acrobatics show, and despite the long day after a long
trip, we said yes, and we did not regret it as it was a fantastic show.
Nós finalmente chegamos aqui. Foi um viagem longa mas sem atrasos
ou problemas. A Juju dormiu a maior parte do vôo mais longo e todos
sobrevivemos.
Foi realmente interessante passar a Páscoa no avião, mas pelo
menos stávamos com a família.
No nosso primeiro dia, acordamos cedo (devido a diferença de
horário) e fomos visitor a Muralha da China. Nós já estivemos lá antes, mas nao
neste parte da muralha. A Juju estava muito corajosa e com vontade de subir
alto, e contou os 347 degraus que ela e eu subimos.
O nosso primeiro dia de passeio também incluiu uma visita a uma
fabrica de Cloisonné, almoço num restaurant local e parade pra fotos no estádio
olímpico. E quando voltamos para o hotel a nossa guia nos perguntou se
queríamos ir num show de acrobatas, e apesar de um dia longo após uma viagem
longa, o nosso grupo quis ir. E não nos arrependemos, pois foi incrível.
